ICities 2026 will be held in Brescia – Italy. Located in the Lombardy region, between Milan and Verona, Brescia is a vibrant city that combines Roman heritage, medieval architecture and contemporary innovation.
The city hosts important UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Roman Capitolium and the monastic complex of San Salvatore–Santa Giulia.
Brescia enjoys a strategic position between Lake Garda and Lake Iseo,offering visitors easy access to stunning landscapes, vineyards, and mountain scenery of the Prealps.

By Airport
Orio al Serio International Airport (BGY – Milan Bergamo) is the closest airport (about 50 km from Brescia).
- Direct buses connect the airport to Brescia city centre.
- Alternatively, you can reach Bergamo railway station by bus and then take a train to Brescia.
- Car rental services are available at the airport.
Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is about 90 km from Brescia.
- From Linate, reach Milan Centrale railway station by bus or metro.
- From Milan Centrale, frequent trains connect to Brescia (approx. 1 hour).
- Car rental services are available at the airport.
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is about 140 km from Brescia.
- Take the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale.
- From Milano Centrale, take a train to Brescia.
Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN) is about 60 km from Brescia.
- Reach Verona Porta Nuova railway station by shuttle bus.
- From there, direct trains connect to Brescia (approx. 40 minutes).
Brescia is well connected by high-speed and regional trains. The main railway station is Brescia Centrale, located close to the city centre. Frequent connections are available from:

- Verona (approx. 40 minutes)
Tickets can be purchased via Trenitalia or Italo.
By CarBrescia is located along the A4 motorway (Milano–Venezia) and can be easily reached by exiting at Brescia Centro or Brescia Ovest, depending on your destination.
By BusLong-distance bus services (FlixBus and other operators) connect Brescia with major Italian and European cities. The bus station is located near the railway station.
